Road Trip @2013
I started a road trip from Syracuse in NY to Santa Clara in CA btween June.1st and June.16th. With a friend of mine in New Jersey, we headed to the West coast. Personally this trip was considered as a journey to organize stuffs in my mind and to find a new insight from new places. Did I find an answer?

A boy and Bambi
A boy and Bambi
This short story is inspired by a Taoist parable 'Whose Dream Is This?' and my personal experience during a road trip. Although this is less than 2 minutes story, I tried to structure a story with some moments and to build a story with the pieces together. I am inspired by a Taoist parable mentioned by Dr. Marilyn Arnone. I re-used a concept of 'Dream' from the parable and put into my story. The main characters are a boy, baby deer, and a policeman.
A seven years old boy grew up in a farm in Kansas.

A seven years old boy grew up in a farm in Kansas.
In the last winter, he got a baby deer named Bambi.
The boy fed her and took care of her sincerely.
One hot day in June,
The boy realized that Bambi was gone.
The boy and his family tried to find her for a day but they couldn't find her..
They boy cried and cried, and finally he fell asleep.
(Driving...)
In his dream, he was driving a car.
But the car was not like his father's truck.
There were lots of equipment in the car.
And the sight was very blurry like fog surrounds the car.
At the moment he thinks of his deer Bambi,
Bambi just came out to the middle of the road.
(Phone ringing...)
The boy woke up and found his dad was on a telephone....
This is my story and what happened to Bambi?
A policeman found her in the middle of highway, saw her dog-tag, and called to the owner.

A tale of Journey
My first astrophotography picture |
It all starts from a picture. Mr. Lim was living in upstate NY, and one day in May he was looking at the outside through a wooden-framed window. Most of students left the campus after Spring semester. The outside was very calm and silent. Not many students were staying in campus. At the evening, he decided to have a walk. Gentle breeze and cool yet warm wind on an empty street greeted Mr. Lim. Although he couldn't see, he could listen, smell, and feel them. He was feeling good energy from the universe. Suddenly he ran back to his house, brought a camera and tripod to outside. When Mr. Lim was taking pictures at the evening, he was imaging of himself in New Mexico.I am trying to build a story based on my road trip with a friend from New Jersey. The road trip was started in June.1st. 2012 from New York to California. I have prepared for this trip for few weeks, but it was hard to create a timeline. After several talks with my friend, we decided to set destinations such as New Mexico, Arizona, and North Dakota. We agree to let our trip go flexible as possible. I gathered my personal belongings and took a picture of them. I could see what I want to get from this trip by this picture.

Stars have been always lighting us, but we cannot always see the starlight.
Maybe some of the stars are not existing now.
Maybe I am watching what is not existing anymore.
They put me into time and space.
